SABMiller brewer's sales in Romania stagnated in the last three months of 2010, on a declining beer market, the company has announced in its most recent earnings update.

Romania's Transport Ministry will invest EUR 18.8 million in upgrading the road infrastructure around the Dacia-Groupe Renault factory and the Renault Technologie Roumanie center. The ministry will built four lanes on 4.1 kilometers of national road DN 73 and on a connection road DN 73D.

The World Bank is prepared to offer Romania technical and financial assistance for its planned follow-up deal with the International Monetary Fund and the European Commission, much like it did when the initial bailout package was signed two years ago, a World Bank official said Tuesday.

General Electric (GE) will supply 14 win turbines for Monsson Alma's wind projects in Romania totaling 35 MW. GE will supply 10 turbines for the company's wind park project Silistea 1 and four wind turbines for its project Mireasa 2.
