Romanian Senate celebrates Children’s Day with various events, free visits

The Romanian Senate also marks Children’s Day this year, awaiting the juniors and parents with various events and free visits on June 1. The third edition of the Children’s Senate will be held from 10:00 to 17:00.

“Let's spend Children's Day together at the Romanian Senate! We have games, balloons, face painting, photo booths, entertainers, mobile theatre for children, classical music recital, dance lessons, interactive workshops, cyber security courses, police horses and dogs, police crews, a helicopter and many other surprises,” the Senate said on its Facebook page.

According to the official announcement, throughout the day, the organizers propose numerous activities dedicated to children in the gardens of the Senate and free visits inside, which include the main attractions, the plenary hall and the office of the president.

The event is organized in partnership with several public and private institutions and organizations from Romania, such as UNICEF, Save the Children, World Vision, the Red Cross, the Gendarmerie, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Border Police, the Department for Emergency Situations, the Bucharest City Hall, and several embassies.
