Cristian Halmajan is the new director of clients and markets with Deloitte Romania, starting from March 1. He replaces Patricia Ilisiu, who relocated to France. Cristian Halmajan, 38 years old, holds an MBA from Bucharest School of Management and a BA in Marketing from the Academy of Economic Studies. Before joining Deloitte, Halmajan was Head of Business Organisation for Corporate and Retail with lender BCR.

He has previously worked in management positions in the banking industry and telecommunications. Over the past seven years, he headed several departments or divisions within the top banks in Romania and was directly responsible for implementing internal and external projects.
