The certification was a prerequisite for Romania’s accession to the Schengen Area. Romania’s Communications Ministry has finalized the technical platform which allows users to fill in forms and submit them, the ministry has said. The ministry will sign collaboration protocols with the public institutions which file requests to enroll in the system.
