Zoot.ro, a Czech online fashion retailer, recently made its entry in the local online fashion market.

The retailer came with a new concept, allowing clients to make online purchases directly from the Czech Republic. The ordered items get shipped to Romania to the company’s two stores in Bucharest, where the clients who ordered them try them on and only buy what they like.

The two stores are located near the Cismigiu park and in Pipera. Zoot will open a third store in the Decebal area, in December, reports local Wall-street.ro.

The retailer estimates sales of EUR 5 to 10 million in its first year on the market. It plans to open more such stores in several big cities in Romania.

“This is an original business model which allows us to keep prices low, as we don’t deliver in thousands of places,” said Robert Berza, country manager of Zoot.

Berza previously worked as a marketing manager for eMAG, the biggest online retailer in Romania.
