Romanian government clears infrastructure projects worth EUR 180 mln
Romanian development minister Cseke Attila signed on May 19 a number of 81 new financing contracts through the National Investment Program "Anghel Saligny", worth a total of RON 925 mln (over EUR 180 mln).
The contracts concern the rehabilitation and modernization of the road infrastructure, the establishment or extension of water supply and sewerage systems, the rehabilitation of some parking lots, sidewalks and pedestrian alleys, as well as the construction or restoration of bridges and culverts, according to the ministry's press release.
With these projects, the number of contracts signed so far within the National Investment Program "Anghel Saligny" amounts to 1,234, totalling RON 13.7 bln (EUR 2.7 bln), according to the same source.
