DHL wants to invest EUR 15 mln in air cargo terminal in Bucharest
Courier and logistics company DHL Express Romania plans to build from scratch a cargo terminal for air transport in Bucharest. The firm wants to invest between EUR 10 million and EUR 15 million in this project.
Bucharest accounts for 60-70% of the company’s volume in the south of the country, said Daniel Kearvell, managing director of DHL Express Romania, cited by local Ziarul Financiar.
The company will start building the terminal soon. This will cover about 15,000-25,000 sqm.
“The air infrastructure develops faster than the road one,” Kearvell added.
