Dutch CSI to open EUR 6 million factory in Cluj
Dutch group CSI will start works on a EUR 6 million factory in Cluj – Napoca which will produce transport and warehousing systems for consumer products. The CSI factory will cover 10,000 sqm and should be ready next year. The Dutch company already owns a production center in Cluj and plans to double its production capacity there, while increasing the number of employees from the current 185 to 400.
CSI Romania produces metallic parts and around 95 percent of its production goes to export. CSI Invest, another subsidiary of the Dutch company, works in real estate leasing. Both subsidiaries posted a turnover of EUR 9.5 million last year in Romania.
The mother company runs a yearly turnover of EUR 50 million and has 450 employees in UK, Germany, Russia, Mexico and Romania. Its clients include FrieslandCampina, Johnson wax, Mars, AOR Trading, Nutricia, MSP, Pepsico, Procter & Gamble, British Tobacco, Unilever, LEAF, JTI, Philip Morris.
