Companies in Romania will be able to give their employees cultural tickets to their employees each month, starting January 2019, according to a bill promulgated by president Klaus Iohannis.

The cultural tickets will have a maximum value of RON 150 if they are granted on a monthly basis or RON 300 when they are granted occasionally, local Adevarul reported. Employees will be able to use these tickets to go to movies, cultural events, exhibitions or to buy books.

Employers in Romania can also give their employees meal vouchers, gift vouchers, holiday vouchers and vouchers for day nursery.
