Enel Green Power gets EUR 180 mln loan for wind projects in Romania, US, Brazil
Enel Green Power International will get a EUR 180 million loan from the Export Credit Agency (EKF), owned by the Danish Government, and with Citigroup, in order to finance wind projects in Romania, US and Brazil.
The 12-year financing package will be used for the Zephyr I, 120 MW project in Romania and for a 200 MW and a 90 MW park in US and Brazil, respectively. The three wind parks ill need EUR 670 million in total to be built.
Enel has been active in Romania since 2005, with activities in energy production and distribution.
Its revenues in Romania last year stood at EUR 970 million, while its EBITDA was slightly down, to EUR 205 million.
