Low cost airline Wizz Air will launch a new flight connecting Bucharest to Malaga in Spain, the company has announced. The new route will be operated from March 26 and will initially have one flight a week, on Sundays.
The occupancy rate of Bucharest's three- and four-star hotels will rise this year by about 10 percent, having increased in 2010 to 42 percent from 39 percent, according to the Bucharest Benchmarking Report, developed by consulting firm Fivestar Hospitality.
Romania plans to write off debts of EUR 234.7 million of companies in the defense industry, citing a EU norm which allows the protection of the national military interest and arguing that foreclosing their assets would impact defense capabilities. Writing off debts of companies in the defense industry will be regarded as a measure to improve the respective companies' economic and financial situation, the Economy Ministry said in a document.
