A new Jamaican food delivery service recently launched in Romania under the name Jamal Food, a project backed by Romanian capital. Not only is this the first Jamaican restaurant in Romania, but also one of the very few in Eastern Europe, and few across Europe, said Cristina Norocel, Managing Partner Jamal.

In the beginning, delivery is only possible in Bucharest. Specialties include some of the most popular dishes in Jamaica, including patties with chicken, beef or vegetables, mango soup with shrimps, as well as sweets including sweet potatoes pudding with chestnut frosting, rum cake with Jamaican rum and carrot juice.
