Former MasterChef Romania judge opens new restaurant in Bucharest office park
Chef Foa, a former jury member of MasterChef Romania cooking show, will open a new Stradale restaurant in the Oregon Park office complex in Bucharest, developed by Portland Trust. The restaurant, which will be opened in early-November, will cover 500 sqm.
Its concept, developed by Chef Foa and his catering company Flavours, is focused on street food and live cooking. It will be the fifth Stradale restaurant in Bucharest, and will be accessible to both the employees in Oregon Park and to those who work in the Floreasca-Barbu Vacarescu-Pipera office area.
“Because there are many other office buildings in the vicinity, we have built an access road directly to Dimitrie Pompei Boulevard, which will enable those working in the Floreasca area to enjoy the products offered by Stradale,” said Florin Furdui, country manager Portland Trust.
The new Stradale restaurant will be located in the A building, which was completed in September this year and is the first unit of the Oregon Park office complex, according to a statement from Portland Trust. The building has a ground floor and six floors occupied by US company Oracle. Oregon Park is located in northern Bucharest and will include a total of three buildings that will cover 72,000 sqm. The second building, B, is to be completed this month.
Chef Foa opened the first Stradale restaurant in the Bucharest Business Park office complex last spring, after an investment of EUR 200,000. Meanwhile, he has also opened two cafeterias, Stradale Carnivale - at the American International School in Bucharest (AISB) - and Stradale Avenor - at the Avenor College. His company Fravours has also been operating the Wilbrook Business and Convention Center in Bucharest, one of the biggest conference centers in Romania starting this spring.
