The former German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder and the former NATO secretary general Lord George Robertson (in picture) will attend an energy conference in Bucharest this week. The conference 'Energy in Central and South – Eastern Europe' will take place between November 22 and 24 and will focus on the latest evolution on the energy markets and the impact of the current economic state on the utilities and energy segments in the SE Europe and Black Sea region. The event is organized by Forum Invest.
Erhard Busek, president of Vienna Economic Forum and the Romanian Foreign Affairs Minister Teodor Baconschi will also take part in the conference.
Gerhard Schröder is the president of the shareholders' committee in Nord Stream, a company where Gazprom has 51 percent of the shares. Schröder came to Romania for another energy conference last year too.
