German IT security company Astaro has bought Romanian CoSoSys, developer of Endpoint Security, Data Loss Prevention and portable media security software. The acquisition price was not disclosed.

The two companies will collaborate on integrating CoSoSys’ device control, data loss prevention and endpoint security solution into Astaro’s Unified Threat Management solution, the Astaro Security Gateway.

CoSoSys specializes in network endpoint security for Windows and Mac and development of software for portable storage device enhancement. The company has offices in Germany, the United States and Romania.
