Romania's Govt. approves new EUR 1 bln terminal at the Henri Coanda Airport
Romania’s Government approved in its Wednesday's meeting, August 29, the technical and economic indicators for developing a new passenger terminal at the Henri Coanda International Airport, the country’s biggest.
The new terminal will be developed in the airport’s eastern area. It will have a modular structure and a surface of over 100,000 sqm, with 25 boarding gates, local Hotnews.ro reported.
The project also includes building new running paths and 56 parking spaces for aircraft. The whole program has an estimated value of about EUR 1 billion, according to the Transport Ministry.
