How many cars have Romanians bought this year?

Romanians bought over 98,700 vehicles, which include cars and commercial vehicles, in the first ten months of this year, up 17.7% compared to the same period in 2014.

Vehicle sales posted a growth of 20.3% in October.

Passenger car sales exceeded 79,000 units between January and October, up 15.9% year-on-year. Dacia ranks first with almost 28,000 cars or 35.1% of the total local market, followed by Volkswagen, with over 7,900 units or 10% of the market. Skoda ranks third with over 7,200 units sold and Ford with over 4,900 cars sold.

Dacia Logan was the best-selling model in the first ten months of the year with over 13,300 units sold, followed by Dacia Duster with over 5,300 cars, and Dacia Sandero with some 4,900 units.

The sales of commercial vehicles rose by 27.6%.
