Imobiliare.ro: Highest rent for an apartment in Bucharest is EUR 6,800

The most expensive apartment put up for rent in Bucharest is a 450 sqm penthouse located in Herastrau area, with a monthly rent of EUR 6,800, according to analysis conducted by Imobiliare.ro. The second highest rent in the capital city is EUR 4,600 for a 309 sqm apartment located in Dorobanti area, followed by a penthouse in Bucharest’s Pipera neighborhood, with a rent of EUR 4,500.

Across the country, the most expensive apartment in Cluj-Napoca rents at EUR 1,500. In Romania’s Timisoara, the highest rent is EUR 1,250 for an apartment located in Unirii square, while in Brasov, the rent for a 150 sqm apartment is EUR 1,300. In Constanta, the highest rent is EUR 1,700, for a 100 sqm apartment, while in Iasi the rents are smaller compared to the other big cities in Romania - maximum EUR 750.

The analysis conducted by Imobiliare.ro shows that 15.5 percent of the apartments put up for rent on the website, namely 1,107 from the total of 7,137, cost over EUR 1,000 a month.

Imobiliare.ro was launched in 2000 and has a total of over 30,000 unique visitors per month.
