The total industrial producer prices rose by 8.4 percent in June, compared to the same month in 2010, and were up 0.7 percent compared to the previous month, according to data released by the National Institute of Statistics (INS). By main industrial groups, significant increases in the prices of the products stand out from the energy industry and the intermediary goods industry.

The prices for industrial production on the domestic market also grew by 0.6 percent compared to the previous month, while prices for industrial production on the foreign markets increased by 1 percent. By main industrial groups, increases were reported in the energy industry, that recorded an increase of 1 percent, in the intermediary goods industry, in the consumer goods industry, capital goods industry and durable goods industry.
