Innovators for Children: Acceleration program opens registrations

18 April 2022

Acceleration program Innovators for Children has opened the registrations for its fourth edition. The program is open to projects and technical solutions with a positive impact on the quality of life of children and teenagers in Romania.

The program is looking for startups and social entrepreneurs developing solutions in education, nutrition and food, safety, children's rights in the digital age and other sectors that could contribute to a better life for children and teenagers.

Over the first two months of the program, ten to 15 selected startups will go through an acceleration process, focusing on building and validating a business model and participating in various training, mentorship, consultancy and feedback meetings. They will also attend an online networking conference with specialists, entrepreneurs and NGOs active in the area of children's wellbeing in Romania and Switzerland.

After this stage, the participants will present their solutions at a Pitch Day, where the finalists will be selected. These will undergo a three-month period of development of their solutions and have access to non-refundable financing amounting to a total of EUR 20,000 as well as an image campaign.

Registrations are open until June 12 to NGOs, social entrepreneurs and tech startups with an idea, prototype-stage solution or a commercially available solution that is not older than one year.

The acceleration program was started in 2019 by Impact Hub Bucharest and Impact Hub Basel. At this year's edition, UiPath Foundation is a strategic partner, and BRD and Mastercard sponsors.
