Insurance company Omnasig ups revenues by almost 20% in Romania
Omniasig Vienna Insurance Group, one of the top insurers in Romania, increased the volume of gross underwritten premiums by 19.4% after the first three-quarters of the year compared to the same period last year.
It underwrote gross premiums totaling EUR 154 million during this period, and its profit reached EUR 2.1 million.
The insurance for fire and natural disasters amounted to EUR 30 million, similar to the same period in 2014. Car insurance rose by 26.4% year-on-year reaching over EUR 106 million.
Omniasig is part of Austrian group Vienna Insurance Group (VIG), which also controls Asirom and BCR Asigurari de Viata.
