Intesa San Paolo Bank turns to EUR 9 mln loss in Romania in 2010
The Romanian subsidiary of Intesa Sanpaolo Bank posted a net loss of EUR 9 million last year, after a zero profit in 2009. The loss was triggered by expenses with provisions. The bank managed to grow its operational profit last year by 13 percent, to EUR 8 million. Romania and Hungary were the only markets where the banking group posted losses last year.
