Kingfisher posts EUR 84.3 mln sales in Romania in first 9 months
British DIY retailer Kingfisher recorded EUR 84.3 million sales in Romania in the first nine months of the 2014/2015 fiscal year, from February to October, and losses worth EUR 11.16 million.
In the third quarter, the British group recorded EUR 32.2 million sales, down by 25.7% compared to the same period last year, when they amounted to EUR 41 million, reads the Kingfisher report, cited by local Wall-street.ro.
Kingfisher posted a EUR 3.7 million loss in Romania from August to October. In April last year, Kingfisher acquired from the French retail company Group Bresson the 15 Bricostore stores in Romania, with sales worth EUR 131 million in 2012.
