Largest real estate fair in Romania to showcase more than 20,000 new houses

21 October 2015

The tIMOn National Real Estate Fair starts on October 22 in Constitutiei Square in Bucharest. The fair’s offer this year includes more than 20,000 new apartments and villas, and special discounts and offers.

Social houses in shipping containers represent the cheapest home one can find at the fair, with a price of EUR 9,000. On the other hand, the most expensive property is a penthouse with a price of EUR 468,500 plus VAT.

The fair also includes a series of exclusive real estate offers. For example, there is an exclusive 3-room apartment with a terrace of over 100 sqm which has a price of EUR 298,000, VAT included.

More than 140 real estate companies and banking institutions will present their offers at the fair, which will allow visitors to compare the housing offers from more than 250 real estate projects (residential compounds or new blocks).

One-third of exhibitors will be exclusively present at tiMOn, and some 31 new residential projects will be launched at the fair. These new projects mark the comeback of real estate developers that had given up on their plans due to the financial crisis. For example, Israeli group Dimri wants to develop 1,000 housing units in Ghencea area in Bucharest, while Spanish developer Gea International resumes the construction of the Laguna Residence complex.

Some of the companies that will be exclusively present at the fair are Real Time, Volumetric, Real Sol, Adama, GVI Town, The Park – Hanner, Reveria Pallady, APX IMMO, Gea International (Laguna Residence), Onix Residence, City Garden Development, Coldwell Banker Mosilor, Invest Capital, ImoZone, Atria invest, Dimri West Towers, Avangarde Rezidential, and Ecovillas.

“Most of the offers target the middle class, complying with the purchasing power, and stays with up to 15% below the market price,” said Vlad Vlasceanu, director tiMOn.

The exhibitors will also come with discounts, special offer and gifts. Some of the facilities offered at the fair include free kitchen equipment, discounts for interior design services, 30% discounts at the initial price, and free parking.

tiMOn will end on October 25. Find out more about the event here.
