The Romanian city of Sibiu will host the Sibiu World Music Festival 2010 between November 12 and 14. The event is organized by the Sibiu Jazz festival foundation and will take place in the Thalia Hall of the State Philharmonic of Sibiu. Ticket prices are RON 20 and RON 10 for pupils/students/pensioners.

Great Britain is the most popular country for Romanians looking for work abroad, according to Tjobs.ro, which shows a growing interest in British job positions, based on their monthly statistics. Out of 65,000 applications on the Tjobs.ro recruitment system, 25 percent were recorded for jobs in the United Kingdom. Uk was followed by Germany, with only 6,500 applications, and Italy.

Faced with the current international financial crisis, most companies have given up on their human resources development programs. But the alternative of using European Union funding could allow companies to train their staff or develop HR programs, as Romania has access to a large amount of European funding dedicated to human resources. The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) has been included in the FTSE Mondo Visione Exchanges Index, which reflects the evolution of prices for listed stock exchanges and other trading venues. It includes 18 other stock exchange operators in the world, among which Deutsche Bourse, London Stock Exchange Group, NASDAQ OMX Group, NYSE Euronext and the Hong Kong stock exchange HKEX.
