British band Skunk Anansie will be among the headliners for the B'est Fest music festival in Romania in July this year. The band broke the news on its Twitter account and also posted an update on its official website here. The organizers of the music festival are yet to make an official announcement on this year's edition of the event.
Winter sports lovers will have the opportunity to join the snowkite and speedfly competition which will take place in Sinaia mountain resort in Romania between February 21 and 27. The event, called Winter Air Sports 2011, will take place at Cota 2000 in Sinaia.
Worldwide acclaimed jazz guitarist Al Di Meola will return to Bucharest to perform along with his band New World Sinfonia. The concert was set for April 21, at the Palace Hall in the Romanian capital city.
The Radio Hall in Bucharest will host the first “Army in Concert” show for the current season on Wednesday, February 24 starting 19,00 hours, . The Army Representative Orchestra will be guided by master Aurel Gheorghita and the event’s special guest will be the pianist Horia Maxim.
Romanian band Byron will launch its third album on Thursday, February 17, from 22,00 hours at the Silver Church club, where it will also go on stage, playing songs from the new album. The album will contain a total number of 16 track adaptations of popular Romanian songs performed in Byron's own manner.

The Palace Hall in Bucharest will host on April 9 a concert of the famous French band Gipsy Kings. The concert is part of “The Gipsy Kings World Tour 2010-2011” which started last July in Los Angeles and will end on May 7, 2011 in Budapest.
The tenth annual edition of the Transylvania International Film Festival (TIFF) will be held this year between June 3 and 12, in Cluj-Napoca, northwestern Romania, according to the festival’s official website. As in the previous years, a selection of films in the festival will be screened later in Sibiu, central Romania, between June 15 and 19.
