Lufthansa carries 10 percent more passengers on Romanian routes
Lufthansa German Airlines carried 615,000 passengers in and out Romania last year, a 10 percent higher passenger volume compared to 2009, according to Stefan Versemann, the company's manager for Romania and the Republic of Moldova.
Together with Austrian and Swiss Airlines, the company transported over one million passengers to and from Romania last year, which was also a 10 percent increase on the previous year. The company wants a similar increase in the number of passengers on Romanian routes for this year.
