Medicover opens new clinic in Romania's Cluj-Napoca
Private healthcare operator Medicover opened yesterday a new clinic in Cluj-Napoca, north-west of Romania. It’s the company’s second clinic in the city, and provides ten medical specialties.
The unit, which is located in Liberty Technology Park, required an investment of EUR 300,000.
“Cluj-Napoca is one of the engines of the Romanian economy and an important business center for us,” said Adrian Peake, Medicover Romania GM.
The heathcare operator currently has a network of 18 own clinics in Bucharest and the country (Timisoara, Cluj-Napoca, Constanta, Iasi, Ploiesti, Brasov, Galati) and a general hospital – the Medicover Hospital. The group also owns the Synevo medical test laboratory network.
Medicover’s consolidated business in Romania amounted to EUR 57 million in 2015, up 13% over the previous year.
