Mega Image reaches 61-unit network with six more openings
Mega Image, the supermarket chain owned by Delhaize group, has reached a network of 61 units in Romania, after opening six more stores between June and August this year.
The network includes 52 supermarkets under the Mega Image brand and nine under the Red Market brand. The newly opened units are in Bucharest – three Mega Image and two Red Market ones. A third Red Market store was opened in Brasov and should be followed by a second one by mid-September.
The network includes stores in Bucharest, Brasov, Constanta and Ploiesti. It is the biggest supermarket chain in Romania.
