Microsoft Romania wants to reach over 1,000 employees in two years
American IT giant Microsoft will hire over 200 people in Romania in the next two years.
The company currently has 760 employees in Romania and its target is to pass 1,000 in the next two years, said Kostas Loukas, head of Microsoft Romania, reports local Hotnews.ro.
In the recent years, the company’s number of employees grew by almost 100 every year.
Microsoft opened the Romanian subsidiary 18 years ago. The company posted a turnover of EUR 43.6 million in Romania last year and a net profit of EUR 4.5 million.
