Omer Tetik to be promoted from prime VP position to president of Credit Europe Romania Bank
Omer Tetik, the first vice-president of Credit Europe Romania Bank, will become the bank's president and head of the Administration Council, replacing Murat Sabaz, who will stay in the bank's board. The replacement decision will be submitted to the bank's shareholders' approval on November 16.
Credit Europe Romania Bank is majority owned by Holland-based Credit Europe Bank NV, which is controlled by Turkish group Fiba. Tetik has been working in Romania since 2000, when he was with Finansbank (the former brand name of Credit Europe Romania Bank). He was head of treasury and financial institutions for five year, then moved to the retail banking and cards division and eventually became prime vice-president in 2009.
