Petrom names new CFO, oil & gas head
Two new expats will join the Petrom broad of directors from January 2011. Daniel Turnheim (in picture) will be the new chief financial officer of the company, replacing Reinhard Pichler, while Hilmar Kroat-Reder will be responsible for gas and energy, replacing Gerald Kappes. The two directors who will leave Petrom will have new attributions in the OMV group, the mother company of local Petrom.
Daniel Turnheim studied Business Administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. In 2002, he joined OMV Group where he held several positions including Head of Controlling with OMV UK. Since 2007,Turnheim has been serving as Head of OMV Corporate Controlling. End of 2009, Turnheim became a member of the Petrol Ofisi’s Board of Directors.
Hilmar Kroat-Reder studied Law and Business Administration at the University of Vienna, the Vienna University of Economics and Business and at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, California, USA. Since 2002, Kroat-Reder has held various positions with OMV: Head of Corporate Development & M&A/Legal, Vice President of the CEO’s Office, while currently he holds the position of Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs & Sustainability.
