Pink Martini and Storm Large to perform in Bucharest next spring

Oregon-based musical group Pink Martini will return to Romania next spring, for a concert scheduled to take place at Sala Palatului in Bucharest on April 20. Singer Storm Large will also join Pink Martini on the stage.

Pink Martini is a musical group formed in 1994 by pianist Thomas Lauderdale. 20 years later, the group sings in 22 languages in opera houses, concert halls, film festivals, museums, and fashion shows.

Their music is inspired by several music genres, crossing from jazz to classical and even pop. They also reinterpreted a well-known Romanian song by Maria Tanase, namely Pana cand nu te iubeam (see video below).

The April concert in Bucharest will start at 20:00. Tickets cost between RON 120 and RON 280, depending on the distance from the stage. However, until December 24, tickets are cheaper, having prices that vary between RON 96 and RON 176. They can be purchased from Germanos, Vodafone, Orange, and Domo stores, Carturesti and Humanitas bookshops, and online from eventim.ro.
