Investment fund Bancroft has bough the bulk in local transport company Dumagas Transport, the two companies have announced. The value of the deal and the size of the acquired share package were not announced. Dumagas Transport is a company based in Craiova which was set up in 1996.

Bancroft is a private equity investment fund with offices in London, Istanbul, Sofia, Budapest and Prague.

The International Financial Corporation (IFC) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and development (EBRD) are among the investors in the Bancroft funds.
