Proprietatea Fund listing delayed for January, management contract still not signed
Romanian investment fund Fondul Proprietatea (Proprietatea Fund) will be most likely floated the Bucharest Stock Exchange in January next year, as well as on a foreign stock market, possibly the London one, according to Greg Konieczny, fund manager for Franklin Templeton in Romania, quoted by the Money Channel.
Franklin Templeton is still awaiting to be officially named fund manager for Proprietatea Fund. It will require three months to finish the listing, form the moment it will officially become fund manager.
Franklin Templeton, which has set up a dedicated office in Romania, will stay in the country even if the management contract for Proprietatea Fund will not be signed, its representatives have said.
