The Ministry of Transport wants to revamp a railway bridge located between Slatina and Piatra Olt in Olt County, in a project estimated at EUR 9.7 million (VAT included), according to a Government's draft decision, cited by local Mediafax.

The project, whose beneficiary is Romanian railways operator CFR, includes infrastructure and superstructure work for the bridge and the river bed.

The investment grant is allocated by the European Commission through the European Regional Development Fund and the state budget through the Ministry of Transport.
