Robbie William’s first concert in Romania beats Lady Gaga & Madonna’s local ticket sales record
Romanians queued up early on to buy tickets for Robbie Williams’ first concert in Romania this year. They bought as many as 21,500 tickets in the first hour and a half since tickets started selling on Tuesday, February 24.
By the end of the week, the organizers estimate to sell 30,000 tickets, according to Telekom Romania, the main sponsor of the event.
Robbie Williams’ show in Romania, scheduled for July 17 in Bucharest, has thus beat the sales records held by other international artists such as Rolling Stones, Madonna, Depeche Mode or Lady Gaga, who also concerted in Romania.
Telekom offers early bird tickets, for RON 151, in its Germanos stores network. The rest of the tickets are available on Eventim.ro.
Ticket prices with Eventim.ro range from RON 189 for the normal circle, to RON 680 for the Stand 1 & 2.
