Roberto Jewellery in Romania sells diamond pendant for EUR 12,000, most expensive piece so far

Greek company Roberto Jewellery, which  opened its first store in Romania in December 2011, wants to open smaller shops in Romania over the long term, said Roberto Kapitsios,  General Manager Roberto Jewellery,without mentioning the number of stores planned. The first store in Bucharest required an investment of some EUR 500,000.

The most expensive single piece of jewelry sold so far by Roberto Jewellery in Romania was a large pendant cross with diamond, for some EUR 12,000.  The company recently launched a new collection, called 'Les Miniatures' in Romania. Prices in this collection range from RON 800 ( EUR 184 ) and RON 3,000 ( EUR 690 ).   All the jewelry is manufactured in Greece. The most expensive piece of jewelry currently in the store is the Orange Sapphire necklace, costing around EUR 11,500 (in picture).

Roberto Jewellery, a Greek family business, also owns shops in Spain and US.
