Romania’s health ministry to purchase 1,000 infant incubators

The health ministry will start the procedure to acquire 1,000 infant incubators to cover the needs of local maternity hospitals, Economica.net reported.

“I can tell you that this week, the health ministry will publish in the electronic system for public acquisitions SEAP the procedure for the acquisition of up to 1,000 infant incubators in order to cover the current existing needs in Romania,” Sorina Pintea, the health minister, said.

The minister made the announcement in Slatina, a city in southern Romania. While there, she visited several departments of the Slatina Emergency County Hospital, including the Pediatrics and Neonatology Intensive Care units.
