What Romanian cities have had the highest increases in apartment prices?
The highest growths in the prices of apartments put up for sale in the last year have been recorded in Cluj-Napoca and Timisoara.
Prices rose by 12.2%, respectively 11.8% in these cities, whereas in Bucharest prices went up by 3.2%.
The average price asked for apartments put up for sale in Romania has increased by 4.7% in the past 12 months, from EUR 921 to EUR 964 per sqm, despite a 1.6% drop in November.
In Cluj-Napoca, the average price for apartments amounted to EUR 1,126 per sqm in November, up by 12.2% compared to November last year. In Timisoara, the average price of apartments reached EUR 937 per sqm in November, up from EUR 838 per sqm in the same month of last year. In Bucharest, the average asking price was EUR 1,095 per sqm, up from EUR 1,061 per sqm one year ago.
