24 January 2011

A five-star hotel is underway near the Ghencea stadium in Bucharest. Romanian firm Premier Palace will invest EUR 7 million in this new hotel, which will feature 60 rooms, five apartments and a restaurant. An adjoining six-storey office building will also be included in the project.

The complex aims at catering to the needs of Romanian and foreign football clubs. The center will also have sports facilities with equipments for medical recovery.

The hotel and restaurant will be opened on April 27, two years after the start of revamping works to an existing structure. The second part of the project, the office building, will be ready next year. The investment will mainly be covered through the investors' own resources and only EUR 2 million will come from bank loans.
