Romanian retailer Dedeman buys Plaza Centers land in Hunedoara for EUR 1.2 mln
Romanian do-it-yourself (DYI) retailer Dedeman buys a 41,000-sqm plot in Hunedoara from developer Plaza Centers, in a transaction worth EUR 1.2 million, reports local Economica.net.
Plaza Centers announced early September its intention to sell plots in Hunedoara and Constanta, as well as in Miercurea Ciuc where it started building a mall and later abandoned it.
Plaza Centers is selling the 36,500-sqm plot in Miercurea Ciuc at a discount, for a price of EUR 2 million, the 41,000 sqm plot in Hunedoara for EUR 1.2 million and the 26,500 sqm plot in Constanta, for the price of EUR 2.5 million, according to the company’s latest financial report.
Plaza Centers also owns plots for shopping malls in Slatina, Timisoara, Tirgu-Mures and Iasi. The company has a deal with the Romanian state to develop the “Casa Radio” real estate project in Bucharest.
