Romania's Government will restructure the National Highways Company
Romania’s Government could approve this week the project for restructuring the National Highways Company CNADNR, said Marcel Bolos, state secretary in the Transport Ministry, reports local Economica.net.
CNADNR is the institution responsible with Romania’s infrastructure, and manages an annual budget of over RON 4 billion (EUR 897 million). The institution will change its name in the National Company for the Administration of Road Infrastructure (CNAIR).
The Government will also set up the National Company for Road Investment (CNIR). This institution will be in charge of building and repairing roads whereas the other one will only be in charge with the current network’s maintenance.
