Romania’s Ministry of Defense wants to buy 18 light antisubmarine torpedoes for EUR 16 mln
The Romanian Ministry of National Defense, through Romtehnica, plans to acquire 18 light antisubmarine torpedoes for a total of EUR 16.5 million, according to a notice published on SEAP, quoted by local news agency Mediafax.
Romtehnica’s notice implies a framework agreement with a single company for a period of five years, the estimated value of the contract being of RON 74.2 million (or some EUR 16.5 million) without VAT.
The main place of delivery is Constanta and candidates that don’t yet hold a security clearance must obtain one.
The participation guarantee will be deposited in the second stage of the procedure, only by the selected candidates, and amounts to some EUR 330,000. Bidders in the category of small and medium enterprises will benefit from a 50 percent reduction of the participation guarantee.
