Rompetrol plans to open seven new gas stations in Romania this year
Romanian oil company Rompetrol, which is part of KMG International, has opened two new gas stations this year, each of them employing 15 people on average. It plans to inaugurate another seven units by the end of the year.
The firm has invested some EUR 7 million in its local fuel station network this year.
The number of people visiting the Rompetrol gas stations increased by 30% in June compared to the beginning of 2016, said Catalin Dumitru, KMG International vice-president.
The company is also engaged in modernizing its gas stations. It has completed the work for 130 stations, 91 of which were modernized indoors. The company plans to expand the modernization process to Moldova, Bulgaria, and Georgia.
