08 March 2012

Business management software solutions provider SAP Romania rented an additional 450 sqm of offices in S-Park office building in Bucharest, where it already occupies 1,400 sqm. The company also renewed its existing lease on the current offices, according to Jones Lang LaSalle, which intermediated the lease.

SAP Romania has also leased 800 sqm in the City Business Centre (CBC) complex in Timisoara and targets other major cities, such as Cluj and Iasi, to continue expansion in Romania.

SAP aims to hire over 150 consultants this year in Timisoara and Cluj, in a recruiting program in close cooperation with several Romanian universities, said Gheorghe Olteanu, head of the near-shore center in Romania, SAP. The centers will provide IT consultancy services to customers across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

S Park, located in the north of Bucharest, close to the landmark square Piata Presei Libere and near Herastrau Park, is structured on six levels and was developed by the local company Primavera Development and forward sold to Immofinanz in 2007.

City Business Center Timisoara, with three existing buildings of 25,000 sqm let-able area, was developed by ModaTim Investment. The construction work for the fourth building is underway and is due for delivery the summer of 2012, while the fifth building is due for delivery by the end of 2013.
