Scorseze lands EUR 12.1 mln Bucharest metro security contract
Security company Scorseze Security will watch over the Bucharest metro security in the next four years, after the company signed a EUR 12.1 million (RON 51.79 million) contract with state company Metrorex. The public contract was offered after a negotiation procedure, according to a Metrorex announcement. The state company had received three offers for security services for the metro system, the announcement says, without mentioning the names of the other two bidders.
The yearly cost of security services for Metrorex will be of EUR 3 million. The services will cover security of the stations, trains and metro depots.
The contract with Scorseze Security started in June this year and the value of the contract doesn't include VAT.
Scorseze had previously offered security services to Metrorex, but the previous contract ended in June.
