Constanta seaside resort will host a special running event this weekend, called SantaRun.

On Sunday, December 20, dozens of people dressed as Santa will run 1.5 km around Operei Park in the city. The race will start at 11:00 from the Oleg Danovski National Theater of Ballet and Opera.

At the end of the race, the participants will receive prizes and hot drinks.

SantaRun is part of the 2016 Sand Marathon international project, which will take place in Mamaia seaside resort on March 27 next year. The third edition of the Sand Marathon will include three competitions: the individual marathon (42.195 km), the half marathon (21.097 km), and the 10 km and the Family Run races.
