Ten flights which were supposed to land on Otopeni airport in Romanian capital city Bucharest and then take off to other destinations have witnessed delays of over three hours due to the fog. Seven Tarom flights and three Moldavian Airlines flights are in this situation. They were supposed to arrive from Kiev, Istanbul and Chisinau, as well as from Romanian cities Sibiu, Târgu Mureş, Iaşi, Suceava, Oradea, Baia Mare and Timişoara.

Two Malev and Lot flights were canceled on Sunday evening due to the thick fog in Bucharest.  Check out the flights status on Otopeni airport here.
