The legendary Hercules comes to Bucharest for East European Comic Con

American actor Kevin Sorbo, best known for playing the role of Hercules in the famous TV series of the mid-90s, will come to Bucharest for the third edition of East European Comic Con.

The event takes place between May 8 and May 10 at Romexpo, the organisers recently announced on Facebook. Some 35,000 visitors are expected to attend the events.

The regular price for a three-day ticket is RON 79 (EUR 17.5), but early birds can buy the first 1,000 tickets for RON 49 (EUR 10.9)

East European Comic Con is a multi-genre convention held annually in Bucharest, Romania. It presents itself as the most important event dedicated to fans of comics, animations, video games, as well as TV series and movies in Eastern Europe.

Visitors can take part in various contests, video screenings, and special sessions with movie and comics celebrities, as well as purchase specific products. One of the most popular contests held at Comic Con is the cosplay costume contest, in which participants dress up and act as their favourite characters.

East European Comic Con was first organised in Romania in 2013. The first edition had about 9,400 visitors while the second one last year gathered 22,000 visitors.
